After graduating from Tel Aviv University's Department of Geosciences, where I received both my Bachelor and Master of Science, my husband and I relocated to New York City, where I am presently working on my PhD. I study atmospheric chemistry, climate, and fire activity, at the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies, and the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Columbia University.
I am currently mainly modeling and doing data science analysis, but I also love doing field work and taking part in observational campaigns. My most valuable fieldwork experience was gained at my previous job as ILAN Team leader, and through my Master’s, where I had the opportunity to work with the World Wide Lightning Location Network.
A couple of years ago I was trusted with my older sister’s camera and developed a love for photography. I enjoy capturing casual moments, wildlife, and interesting sites with my Canon 6D. Feel free to browse the photos on the site. All of them were taken by yours truly - apart from the ones I am in, to which the credit goes to Israel Silber and Benny Kosman.
A foodie since birth, some would say, I appreciate great cuisine, be it at home or outside. I am especially drawn to ethnic cuisine and fine dining. I invite you to stroll through the streets of NY with my food map!
I love to talk to interesting people. Don’t hesitate to contact me:
